Yasmin was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Austin College in 2019 with a BA in Psychology and attained her Master of Arts in Teaching degree in 2020. Yasmin is a first-generation graduate and hopes to use her own experience to help other first-generation students have an easier journey to college. Yasmin taught elementary school for two years in Texas before moving to California. She is now the Elementary School Specialist in El Cajon where she currently resides and is excited to contribute to the community.
