Cecilia Carbajal is the Director of the Upward Bound Program at BLCI. Cecilia is a first-generation college graduate.  After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, Cecilia went back to her community as a Mathematics teacher.  Her passion for student access, took her to the University of Southern California to work on her master’s degree and work fulltime directing an outreach program that focused on Math and Science for high school students.  Now living in San Diego with her husband and two sons, Cecilia’s passion continues to be preparing, training and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
