College Success Pipeline

We deliver the ABCs of College Success through a variety of after school programs that are age appropriate and culturally relevant. All students are required to attend weekly “Steps to Success” workshops that prepare them for college success. Tutoring is offered 3pm-7pm, Monday through Thursday. Field trips and enrichment activities are constant and ongoing throughout the year.

The College Success Pipeline

THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM (3RD THROUGH 5TH GRADES)

Setting the foundation for future learning and high expectations for college and careers.

THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM (6TH THROUGH 8TH GRADES)

Promoting positive identity development to keep students on the path to college.

THE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (9TH THROUGH 11TH GRADE)

Ensuring students are taking the right courses, preparing for standardized tests, and involving themselves in extracurricular activities to gain acceptance into the right college for them.

THE COLLEGE SUCCESS PROGRAM (12TH GRADE THROUGH COLLEGE COMPLETION)

Guiding students and parents through the college application and financial aid process and preparing students to succeed on the college campus.

Parent and Leadership Programs

Although the programs are free of charge, parents must donate their time. They can volunteer with programs, learn how to support their children at home and advocate for their needs at school, or improve their financial stability by continuing their own education and improving their employment skills.

The Leadership Programs

Our students are not only recipients of our services, but also, partners in the mission. They create “a thriving community and a better world.” Students learn to apply their strengths to a cause they care about by giving back to their community. These leadership skills are associated with success in college and in the workplace.

CIRCULO DE MUJERES AND CIRCULO DE HOMBRES

Building resilience in our middle and high school students through student-run programming that addresses gender-specific and cultural challenges our students face.
