Thomas Yang

El Cajon Assistant Soccer Coach

Having played soccer all his life, Thomas is looking to impact the next generation through not only the joy of playing the “Beautiful Game”, but simultaneously building character, teamwork, and mental fortitude in players.
Since his family had to move around, soccer was instrumental in helping Thomas adjust to new surroundings and make new friends, thus providing a base for him to grow as a person and succeed in other areas in life. Thomas graduated from UC Davis and UCLA, is now an aerospace engineer, and had contributed to projects such as the presidential helicopter “Marine One” and NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope. The sport has done a lot for him, and so he would like to give back.
