Mario Castillo is currently both a Part-Time Academic Mentor at BLCI Upward Bound and a Sophomore at SDSU, pursuing a degree in the field of Civil Engineering. After gaining experience working with underrepresented communities and achieving a degree in Civil Engineering, Mario intends to improve the infrastructure and structural safety of those communities. By helping communities with this particular field of study, Mario hopes to act as an example for younger generations to pursue a higher education, achieve a successful career, and continue the cycle of aid in their communities.
