I’m originally from Marina, a small town on the coast of Monterey Bay, and I made my way to San Diego for my undergraduate education. I am a proud first-generation college graduate from UCSD, who majored in Psychology and has a minor in Ethnic Studies. Growing up as a first-generation college-bound student, I was fortunate to be a part of various college access programs and college retention program. My participation in TRIO as a student led to my professional involvement with TRIO, and now moving forward at BLCI I am still fighting for education equity and serving my community.
