I was raised by two immigrant parents and I grew up in Barrio Logan. I have been living in Barrio Logan all my life and I love where I come from. I am currently studying at SDSU with an emphasis in Chicano Studies and a minor in Public Administration. I have been working with BLCI for 7 years and what I love about working at BLCI has been the passion the students have for their own personal growth as individuals and students. This year I got the opportunity to work closely with the parents and I continue to be impressed by how much knowledge and passion the families have for their communities.
